Drone

These students are participating in a Dual Credit course offered through Ranger College and taught by Coach Watson. In the Fall, the course specializes in learning the rules, regulations, and application of flying an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle. In the spring, they will continue their learning and become proficient in their flying skills as they work their way towards become certified drone pilots. They can then take this certification test and gain employment in areas such as real estate photography, property surveyors, and insurance adjustors. In the past two years, Hico 17 Secondary students have gained their FAA 107 certification up completion of this program.
